If you ask a Santa Barbara resident about "June Gloom", this is
probably not the exact image that would come to mind.
Even though the naturally cool and foggy summer days are
what make this amazing sunlight on the hills.
On the other hand, if you ask a Santa Barbara native
about Santa Barbara, more likely than not this is the
image they will see in their minds' eye. It's not the beaches
as much as the hills and the architecture of our beautiful
home that makes us feel like we couldn't live anywhere else.
Ok, the beaches are wonderful too! I'll admit I would really miss them.
But, so many different people have told me that this captures
their image of the city so perfectly that I actually had to change
the name to simply "Santa Barbara"
